BAZAAR WORK SCHEDULE 2018 (tentative)

NOTE BIG CHANGES ON SATURDAY and SUNDAY!

NOW  Solicit donations for our Silent Auction
Think about how you can help, and notify Kathy or Joy

EARLY IN MAY  Make osushi vinegar mix (afternoon.)
Ask businesses to post our flyer
Plan your bake sale item
Lumpia prep

WEDNESDAY, May 23: Chirashi ingredients cooked
Rib sauce preparation

THURSDAY, May 24:  Prepare Curry 9am-12pm, 1-5pm

FRIDAY, May 25:  All day Clean Kato hall, tables, shelves, floors
Udon cooking, and dashi prep 9am start 
          Cutting ribs in preparation for boiling 7pm

SATURDAY, May 26:   Manju will start at 8:00 a.m., packing finished in afternoon.  
      Prepare Chirashi ingredients, spam musubi and chicken salad
Package fortune cookies
Wash rice cooling trays, metal and plastic serving trays
     Afternoon:   Clean up kitchen
Set up tables social hall and Issei chapel
Wash dishes and bowls for curry and udon
Set up Silent Auction
At home, prepare an item for our bake sale
 
SUNDAY, May 27:
6:00 a.m.            Rice cooking begins 
6:00 a.m.            Ribs begin boiling
6:30 a.m.         BBQ Begins
8:15 a.m.            Rice fanning
8:45 a.m.           Inarizushi and chirashi preparation begins; plating
9:15 a.m.            Box lunch assembly begins in Issei Chapel
Set up outside area
Udon and curry serving prep
Rice cooking continues for unagi, box dinner, curry
Unagi cooking and plating 
10:30 a.m. Worship service by station
Prepare for counter sales of food, and box lunch counter
Price baked goods
Boil water for tea
11:30 Finish dining table setup

Noon to 4pm    Bazaar open for business; guests arriving earlier to be directed to entertainment in parking lot
4:00 p.m. CLEAN UP. THANK YOU!
